I’m Ava Wick, co-creator of Ava & Annika. Photography has always been my way of understanding the world. Guided by curiosity and a careful eye for detail, I began sharing a camera with my twin sister, Annika at a young age. We would transform everyday spaces into imagined sets. That early instinct to play and explore continues to define my creative process.

Specializing in fashion, portraiture, and video, my work explores girlhood, identity, and the subtle nuances of human behavior. I value instinct over perfection, drawn to images that feel alive and expressive, shaped by the energy on set.

As a Commercial Photography student at SCAD, I focus on creating intentional scenes that still feel real and honest. I’m meticulous in my editing and technical execution, but I find that my best work happens in moments of unpredictability. My goal is always to create images that reflect the complexity of the person in front of the camera.
